Setting Up Your Organization

When you sign up as a new agency, your Organization — your agency's private workspace — is created either at sign-up (dashboard direct sign-up) or automatically the moment your payment confirms (marketing-site checkout). Everything you build (clients, profiles, posts, reports, team members) lives inside it.

How your org was created depends on how you signed up

Signup pathWhen the org is createdWhat you'll need to fill in next
Marketing site checkout (localvisibilitylab.io → Get Started → Stripe Checkout)Automatically, the moment Stripe confirms your payment. The org name defaults from your Stripe billing details; you rename it from Settings → General after first sign-in.Branding, contact details, team, integrations. See "After first sign-in" below.
Direct dashboard sign-up (dashboard.localvisibilitylab.io/sign-up)At first sign-in, the platform asks you to pick an organization name and creates it.Same as above, plus picking a paid plan from Billing.

The Organization model only requires a name at creation. Branding (logo, colors), contact details (mailing address, support email/phone), and the storefront slug are all configured after sign-up — see below.

If you skip the logo at sign-up, the platform falls back to a generic placeholder. Don't ship to clients without one.

After first sign-in

You'll land on the Dashboard, mostly empty. That's expected.

Your next moves (in order):

  1. Settings → General — fill in contact details (support email for GA4/Search Console, customer onboarding settings, agency-manager invitee). Also where the org-wide email notification toggles live.
  2. Settings → Branding — set your app name, logo URL, and primary brand color. These appear on invoices, customer-facing emails, and (for Agency Partners) the storefront. Agency-partner orgs also see a White Label — Custom Domain subsection on this tab; see Custom Domains.
  3. Settings → My Notifications — choose what triggers an email to you (failed jobs, large refunds, new sign-ups via storefront).
  4. Settings → Stripe Connect (Agency Partner orgs) — connect your Stripe account and configure the storefront enable toggle + slug + plans toggle. See Stripe Connect. Your storefront URL becomes dashboard.localvisibilitylab.io/storefront/<slug>.

Multiple organizations

Some agencies run more than one (one per brand, one per region). You can:

  • Create additional orgs from the organization pickerCreate New Organization.
  • Be invited into multiple orgs by other agencies (e.g. as a fractional consultant).

Each org has its own data, billing, settings, and team. They are not linked.

Closing an organization

There's no self-serve "delete organization" UI today. To close your organization, email support@localvisibilitylab.io. Support handles the close-out so we can confirm billing is settled, exports are delivered if needed, and dependent connections (Stripe Connect, custom domains, social accounts) are cleaned up cleanly.
